About East Theater Company

East Theater Company is a part of the arts at Denver East High School. we offer the students at East High School a theater program where they can learn how to become better actors by offering them classes they can take during school hours and after-school shows. We are a voluntary lead company. Making sure easy access for high school students.

Theater classes at East High School focus on building a community and building a person's acting skills. If you want a future in acting or directing, or if you simply want a place to have some fun, then theater classes are a perfect fit for your elective. There are four different class levels, based on grade or when you joined. There are levels one through four of theater here at East, all of which have a focus on different specifics of theater. Each level has their own level performances, and anyone is free to watch. There are two theater teachers, Dave Medicus (Teaches levels one and two), and Deborah Voss (Teaches all levels). Theater is a perfect way to make friends, and to have something to look forward to in the school day
